Thanksgiving Point Golf Club

The Sorenson Champions Challenge is played at Thanksgiving Point Golf Club in Lehi, Utah.  The 18-hole, par-72 championship course is 7,714 yards long and covers more than 200 acres, making it the largest golf course in the state.  The golf club has been ranked in the top ten new courses in the country by Golf Digest (1997), was recently named the number one public golf club in Utah by Golf Digest and one of fifteen “hidden gems” in the country by Links Magazine. The spectacular, public layout boasts of 10,000 trees, wide rolling fairways, large undulated greens and pristine conditions.

This Johnny Miller Signature course uses the natural landscape to enhance the overall golf experience. Miller did a tremendous job creating a picturesque and challenging golf experience. But it's not the greens, or the fairways, or the bunkers that we are most proud of. It's not the stunning mountain backdrops or the incredibly long layout. It's not even the fact that many of the world's top golfers including Jack Nicklaus, Johnny Miller, Lee Trevino, Billy Casper, Craig Stadler, Hale Irwin, Gary Player, Fuzzy Zoeller, John Daly, Jim Furyk, Sergio Garcia, and a host of others have played and loved the course.
